TechnologyAdvice rating: 4.5/5

Kintone is a no-code application development software with one foot in Tokyo and the other in San Francisco. Provided by Cybozu Inc, one of the largest software companies in Japan, Kintone offers a code-free environment for businesses of all sizes to create workflow automations, online databases, and applications.

Choose from one of many app templates in Kintone, or create an app from scratch using drag-and-drop functionality. Available app templates include CRM, project management, document library, equipment management, and shipping orders.

Looking at our comparison table, you’ll notice Kintone lacks some of the security features offered by its competitors. However, it’s worth noting that Kintone does operate on the secure Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform, and its Japanese data centers comply with The Center for Financial Industry Information Systems (FISC) Facility Safety Standards. These are the same digital safety standards Japanese banks follow.
