Agile CRM vs. Creatio: An overview

Agile CRM was founded in 2012 and is based in India. It has a comprehensive set of CRM features for marketing and sales. Agile’s features include contact management, calendar, lead scoring, appointment scheduling, gamification, multi-channel campaigns, project management, and video emails. It has built-in telephony capabilities and a mobile app. Agile CRM offers a free version for small teams and has inexpensive paid plans — which makes it an excellent choice for small to mid-sized businesses.

Creatio was formerly named bpm’online, and is situated in Boston, Massachusetts. It is a low-code CRM platform that has features for sales, marketing, and service delivery. Creatio has features for contact management, website behavior tracking, omnichannel communications, lead management, trigger campaigns, personalized email marketing, event management, and business process management. Just like Agile, Creatio has an incorporated telephony feature and a mobile app for Android and iOS devices. This CRM has high-end pricing and is more suitable for medium to large companies.

Contact management

Agile’s contact management feature has robust capabilities. With this CRM, you can manage your contacts in a centralized directory with visual contact timelines that display complete histories of contact activity such as emails exchanged, web content viewed, and social media updates. Users can create tags for contacts according to particular demographic or behavioral attributes, like company size, industry, location, or job title.

With Agile, you can manage your contact lists more efficiently by using the bulk actions capability. You can add, update, edit, email, or export multiple contacts at once in a single batch. View the social media profiles of each contact from within the CRM and even communicate to these social media accounts without leaving the CRM.

Creatio lets you get a complete view of your contact including their industry, company size, geography, career history, website browsing, history of quotes and orders, and any significant events related to them. Say goodbye to manual searching of contact details. Creatio’s CRM data scientist can quickly identify email addresses, phone numbers, social media profiles and other important details about a company using open sources.

Create custom segments for your contacts according to priority, industry, revenue, or any parameter you set. Users can keep an eye on all the vital communications made to contact like meetings and calls. Orders, invoices, and contracts relating to a contact are also tracked by Creatio.

Telephony

Through Agile’s telephony feature, make outbound calls and receive incoming calls from contacts. Agile’s personalized greetings enables you to greet contacts by their name every time they call. When your team is unable to take a call, they can forward the call to their mobile or landline phones. You can send automatic follow-up emails to your contacts after a call regarding scheduled demos and meetings or voicemails. Call logs of all your users can be tracked and important calls can be recorded.

Creatio’s telephony feature allows users to make and receive calls from the CRM system. You can access complete call histories and set up quick dial to call your favorite contacts. Calls can be linked to contacts to be added into the complete interaction history. This CRM has call recording capabilities as well. You can  transfer a call to another user from the CRM. Aside from the ability to call customers, you can make voice and video calls to other Creatio users for free.

Mobile application

Agile has a mobile application that can be downloaded for iOS and Android devices. The Agile CRM mobile app lets you access recently viewed contacts, deals, and upcoming tasks. You can access the dashboard and edit contact data by adding tags or changing lead scores. You can also write notes and check tasks related to your contacts. With the mobile app, you can track deals, events, and tasks. Additionally, you can send emails, reply to social mentions, make calls to your contacts, take notes after a meeting, and resolve customer issues.

Creatio’s mobile application is available for Android and iOS devices. Since Creatio is a low-code platform, users can easily customize the layout and design of the mobile app. You can quickly add a new section via wizard. After the changes are saved, users can receive the updated application configuration on their device right away. With the mobile app, you can easily create new orders and quotes, access invoices, accounts and contacts, schedule appointments, and make calls or send emails to contacts. The contact information from Creatio’s mobile app is even accessible offline.

The better choice for your business

Due to pricing, it’s easy to see why Agile CRM is more suitable for small to mid-sized businesses and Creatio CRM for medium to large-sized companies. But aside from costs, you should also consider the special capabilities of each systems.

Agile CRM has broader telephony capabilities than Creatio. Agile has some telephony features you won’t find in Creatio — such as personalized greetings and automatic follow-up emails. However, Creatio CRM’s mobile application can be customized  by users with no coding capabilities, and the mobile application works offline. Agile could be the better choice if you want to make your phone calls more efficient, but Creatio is superior if you want to focus on working remotely.
