welcome to this week's product Spotlight today we're looking at Reich my name is Josh Bland and our goal is to educate advise and connect buyers of business technology we want to meet you guys in your search for software and give you an unbiased view of what it's like to look for vendors so joining me today is Andy hi I'm Andy Sievers I'm the project management specialist here at technologyadvice my job is to connect buyers and sellers of business technology and we're here with Brian thumb from Reich Brian would you like to introduce yourself sure hi guys Brian thumb here from give us a one sentence description of Reich sure so Reich is a collaborative project management platform used by teams and businesses to increase productivity by better planning organizing collaborating and Reporting on their work uh what would you say specifically differentiates your product from other project management tools yes I think it really falls into kind of four things so it's the collaboration capabilities the planning and reporting that we have uh the flexibility of our platform and the simple uh user interface uh maybe I can just kind of give you a little bit more background on each of those uh just very briefly so from a collaboration standpoint Reich is a platform it really helps teams do their work not just track and manage the work that's going on and to just kind of give you one specific example of how we enable that in our product our tasks are actually built around a real-time document editor so think of this as a live Google doc for example it's all the same capabilities so multiple people can collaborate at the same time say you're a marketing team and you're writing the copy it's got revision tracking review history all the formatting you'd expect from a document so that you're actually able to do the work in the project planning and tracking software so that everything stays together all in one place and of course you can also easily attach documents from drive or box or Dropbox but by enabling that collaboration in our product it makes it easier for teams both to track and manage their work but also to get their job done so that's the first the second area is really around our planning and Reporting so one of the big reasons we find that people adopt products like Reich is because they need more visibility into their work they need to know what's going on so they can better manage their teams and we offer a really powerful Suite of reporting tools it starts with our interactive timeline which is a visual representation of your project we have workload charts that show how busy each person on the team is and what they're working on Baseline reports that show what the original plan looked like and what's actually happening and the powerful thing about reporting in Reich is these are all interactive charts so you can just drag and drop and move things around so for example if someone's out sick or they're overloaded you can move work to someone else right from the reports so they don't just give you the insights they actually let you manage your work in a very simple visual intuitive way the third area that really differentiates us is the flexibility of the platform because uh with any tool like this it really needs to fit the way the teams already work uh and a lot of tools force you to change the way you work to meet the needs of the software so from the very beginning we built right to be the most flexible platform so that uh different teams whether they're in the same company or just different companies can easily customize right to fit their workflow and the way they organize themselves and we also integrate with all of the commonly used tools we have really uh deep Integrations with email they're patented make it very simple for people to work across email and our product as well as all the other commonly used document management and sharing and other types of products because we're trying to organize and connect all the systems that people use to get their job done around the work itself uh and then lastly is the UI it's really simple and intuitive which makes it fast and easy for teams to get started on right there's not a really steep learning curve so uh yeah I think those are the four big areas for us it's really collaboration reporting flexibility and simplicity thanks Brian who is your ideal customer though if you can only target it to like one person who who would that be yeah that's a great question so uh you know really our ideal customer our teams or businesses that are looking for a system to organize their work uh get them out of email spreadsheets or maybe replace another system that isn't working for them and gives them visibility to manage their team and we actually have three different levels of our products we have a free version and a professional version of Enterprise and a very diverse customer base we work with startups and small businesses through large Enterprises like Google HTC Hawaiian Airlines and many others um we work we have clients in almost every industry from technology companies and financial services through hospitals hotels universities governments and a lot of different functions a lot of marketing teams project management product development Consultants so it's a pretty flexible product and because we have different tiers uh you know we have a wide range of customers that we support great how does the pricing scale as you get into more advanced features I'll let you elaborate sure yeah so uh so we have a free version and then professional and Enterprise are the paid versions and it's uh priced on a seat basis so our basic package starts at the five user seed for 49 a month and it really scales up from there it really just depends on the needs of the customer and you know whether the professional version of the Enterprise version is a better fit for them great well so Brian tell us we saw that you had a new uh launch of features with Reich this week can you tell us a little bit about what's with that sure absolutely yes this week we announced the launch of right Dynamic platform and this really completely changes the way that people and teams can use Reich giving a customized experience at every level of the product for every user and one of the biggest parts of the dynamic platform is the introduction of custom Fields so this lets any user or team add their own unique data to a project as easily as adding a column into the spreadsheet so it's perfect for budgeting prioritization really
