Salesbox is a cloud-based predictive CRM for sales teams that want to take the guesswork out of their lead management. This review video is provided by TechnologyAdvice as part of our mission to educate, advise, and connect buyers and sellers of business technology. Salesbox is built to accommodate both mobile and desktop access for PC and Mac. The interface is fairly straightforward. On the left side, there is a simple navigation menu. On the right, you’ll see more information on items you select from the main workflow.

For instance, we can see the contact info for individuals as you select them in the contacts area. First we will look the tasks section, which contains all your sales tasks for a given day, week, month, quarter, and year. You can sort your view using the filter button at the top right. When you click on a task, the window to the right will display the details for that task. You can add a note from this window, or click on the contact to go directly to the contacts window.

In the contacts section, you can easily add contacts by clicking the plus symbol at the top right. Fill out the required fields and any additional information you have for this contact. You can also link that contact to a specific account and specify a relationship status. Click “done” to save the contact. Under Insights, a dashboard presents all of your calling, sales development, and related data in one place. Similar to the tasks section, you can sort insights by Day, week, month, quarter, or year.

You can also view your goals and see where you stand with progress. To adjust these goals, you will need to change them under company settings. Additional features include: “Smart Guidance,” which learns your company's numbers over time to create better forecasts and goals. A “Pipeline view,” which lets you quickly see all opportunities in your pipeline, grouped by sales stage or process. And a plethora of add-ons and Integrations, including Google, Microsoft, and Dropbox products, plus seamless lead generation through Facebook, LinkedIn, and Mailchimp.

Salesbox offers a 2 week trial to let users test the platform. After that, you pay a regular subscription fee, which at the time of this review was 20 dollars per user, per month. One limitation we discovered while reviewing Salesbox was it’s interface. The software would sometimes glitch when loading or viewing longer contacts lists. To fix it and continue scrolling, we had to resize the window or reload the list. This is also a cloud-based product, which may prevent some teams from using it offline or in a server-based environment.

Salesbox is great for Sales teams who transition between mobile and desktop use, teams who might use gamification functionality, and managers seeking better visibility into goals and performance.
