NinjaOne has patch management features that can secure Windows, Mac, and Linux devices automatically from a single console.
NinjaOne has a cloud-native approach to patch management, meaning end-users don’t need to be joined to the company’s network or VPN for endpoints to be patched, making it easier to keep devices updated and compliant. Users can utilize NinjaOne’s patch management tools to schedule patching scans, updates, configure patching approvals, and get insight into the most common patching profiles. In addition to operating system patches, NinjaOne provides visibility and control over patching for more than 135 common applications.
NinjaOne includes security and backup tools to keep users’ data safe from external threats and loss of data. With NinjaOne, users can manage applications, remotely edit registries, deploy scripts, automatically install and manage endpoint protection on all devices within the system. The RMM solution includes a credential exchange to store and inject credentials seamlessly while deploying patches or connecting to a device remotely. Also, Ninja Data Protection protects critical business data by allowing users to backup and recover information from workstations or from entire servers, with cloud-only, local-only, or hybrid storage options.
NinjaOne is well received as a network monitoring software with several pros and cons worth mentioning. Users appreciate the variety of features that NinjaOne offers, with many users noting patch management in particular. Users also note how easy it is to use, citing the setup process specifically. However, some users experienced occasional false alerts. Users also note that the reporting functionality could use further development. It’s a good idea to get multiple quotes before choosing a network monitoring solution.
