Welcome, today we’ll be looking at Nimble, a crm that allows businesses to track interactions across social media, email, and text messages. This video review is brought to you by TechnologyAdvice. Our mission is to educate, advise and connect buyers and sellers of business technology and one of the ways we do so is by providing unbiased reviews. Nimble’s goal is to use its Smart Relationship Manager to help you turn your contacts into customers for life.

Nimble offers ways for businesses to simplify their workflow by offering ways to manage tasks, schedule events and coordinate calendars, set ad receive reminders, and find targeted leads on social networks. Nimble is a web application, so there’s no need to download any software, and it’s accessible on any device. We’ll start with the home screen which is labled Today. The screen provides a quick glance of top contacts, engagement opportunities, a to-do list, and upcoming deals.

A nice feature of Nimble is once you’ve signed up, you can integrate your social and email accounts, and they will automatically pull in relevant data for typical CRM usage. As you can see with the top contact,’s information, the twitter integration makes it easy to stay in contact with your contacts and what they’re talking about on social media. The next category is contacts. Nimble imports a variety of contacts from sources such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and Gmail to make accessing people and companies easier.

From there, contacts can be sorted based on companies, importance, recently viewed, and more. There are also various views such as list and grid that change the way you see leads. Let’s take a quick peek at Jenna’s profile. Here’s a quick glimps of all of Jenna’s important information. Her status details when she was last contacted, lead details, and pending deals. It’s also possible to view a history of touchpoints and notes you have had with a contact.

The social stream is also a really helpful features that can help get the conversation going when interacting with a contact. Next up is the signals page. The notifications from Sginals help to consolidate social streams from Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn into a central place to find important contacts to engage. Singals also has basic social media management and can even schedule posts. Messages help to aggregate all of your important email in one place.

Users can easily respond and reply to contacts without ever having to leave Nimble. Users can also use the messages tab to see who has contact them through Twitter. The next tab is Activities. It give you a quick glimpse of everything due in the near future. Tasks as well as the Calendar are also helpful to see projected events and important contact touch points coming up. Deals is another important tab and gives a simplified overview of all current sales that are currently in-progress.

Within a deal, users can see the contact’s latest activity and other important information about the deal such as messages, activities, and notes to help make closing easier and more likely. Once a deal is closed, users have to drag and drop it into the close deal lane and the sale is marked as complete. Last but certainly not least is reports. Users get a quick glance of all the deals currently ongoing with the possibility of seeing previous data.

Forecasted deals are also a neat and useful feature that can help sales teams project sales. Made for medium-sized businesses to enterprises, Nimble is available for a low price point. According to reviews on our product page, a concern was Scalability, Reference customers, and Support as well as some viewed the interface as slightly cluttered. In summary, Nimble helps businesses: 1) Focus on contact insight instead of contact management 2) keeps you organized and on track 3) augmenting each Contact Record with richly detailed information across social channels To find out more about Nimble or other crm software, check out our website where we can help you find technology that will fit the needs of your work.
