This review video is for JobAdder, a cloud based recruiting platform. JobAdder simplifies sourcing and hiring tasks using a CRM-like interface that makes it easy to track prospects and recruiting channels. This review video is provided by TechnologyAdvice as part of our mission to educate, advise, and connect buyers and sellers of business technology. When you log in to JobAdder, you land on a central dashboard, but you can navigate to different areas of the software using the blue bar at the top.
Each tab has a dashboard for that specific section. To add a new candidate manually, add a contact, or create a job posting, click the plus sign next to the search bar at the top. Under the Jobs tab, you can browse through the various jobs you have created. Depending on the size of your organization, this list may be quite long. Use the Search Jobs function to search through the list for specific entries. To add a new job, click “Create New” and include the job title, description, and other information.
Under the Job Applications tab, you can view all the current applicants for each posting. Click on individuals to view their profile under the “Candidates” tab, see the status of the applicant, the job they applied for, and from which source the candidate applied. You can easily change the status of an applicant by using the drop down menu. The final two areas are Companies and Contacts, which showcase the CRM functionality of the platform. Under the Companies tab, you can add companies with open positions, and in the contacts tab, you can add individuals for those companies.
This can be helpful for recruiters managing multiple companies or brands. Additional features include: Job listings across hundreds of job boards and social media platforms, Task management and reminders, And a multi-lingual resume parsing tool. Pricing for JobAdder is straightforward and budget-friendly. They charge a per-user fee, at the time of this video advertised as 99 dollars per user, per month, with no setup fees or contracts. A limitation we discovered while reviewing JobAdder is that you can’t manually import your own records, although JobAdder will do this for you.
Another limitation we discovered is that JobAdder doesn’t crawl the web for additional information to autofill candidate fields like some other products on the market. Finally, JobAdder doesn't offer any features for onboarding, although they plan to add these in the near future. In Summary, JobAdder helps you organize job postings, applicants, and clients in a single platform, Post jobs to social networks and job hiring sites And manage interactions between recruiters, applicants, and clients.
