Welcome. Today, we'll be looking at Digimind, a social media monitoring tool. This video is brought to you by TechnologyAdvice's SmartAdvisor tool, which lets you compare hundreds of marketing solutions based on your exact needs. Digimind is a marketing intelligence platform that's designed to help brands monitor what's being said about them across the internet. It aggregates mentions of key terms or brand names from social media, news outlets, and blogs, and then lets you sort through all that info in order to get a pulse on what your customers are thinking about your brand.
We have their platform up right here, so let's take a look. This is the home page, where Digimind shows us the key concepts, which is basically a list of terms that have been frequently mentioned in relation to the brand or product we're tracking. And right now, we have that set to track these over the last 7 days. If we click on one of these key concepts, Digimind will bring up a list showing us all of these mentions. We can also check out the overall number of mentions that we've been getting for the past 7 days, and this will give us the average per day, the minimum and the maximum.
And we can look at which platforms these mentions occurred on. You can see that at least for the consumer phones that we're tracking here, Twitter dominates these mentions. And we can also look at the key influencers and the people who have mentioned us the most frequently in the last 7 days. Finally, we can look at the sentiment analysis and that will show us the percentage of positive to neutral to negative mentions that our brand has gotten. And you can see how this changes in real time if we select a different phone to track over here on the left.
If we want a broader sense about what's being said about our product, though, we can go to the mentions tab up top. And this is essentially a real-time feed of all the mentions about the brand or product we're tracking. And we can change that and it will reload all of them as well. And Digimind actually groups similar mentions and articles together so that we don't have to read the same things over and over. And it also ranks each mention based on the audience of the person or the news outlet.
The top reputation tab will show us the phrases that are suggested by search engines when our product is typed in and the top results that people typically find for those searches. So that's a nice extra feature. Finally, there's the dashboard. And this will just give us an overview of the potential audience, where we're getting those mentions, the sentiment analysis for the product, uh the trend line of how many mentions we've been getting, key influencers, and the key concepts associated with our product over whatever time period we select.
And that's all on one screen. And all of the data analysis is done in real time, which is pretty cool. And the interface is fairly simple to use once you get a handle on the unique terms that Digimind uses. You can also create a report or download any of this information that you see, which is great if you want to do some in-house analysis.
