It’s always nice when you’ve got a solution that handles everything from A-to-Z and that’s exactly what Crelate strives to do. Its website calls itself an “end-to-end staffing and recruiting software.” Hiring people and more importantly, hiring the RIGHT people for your company is critical regardless of company size, so let’s take a closer look at Crelate to see if it’s the right fit for you and your company. Crelate’s name is a portmanteau of the words create and relationship.
They say that this goes hand-in-hand with their main goal: “The heart of recruiting is relationship building.” Crelate’s main product is called Crelate Omni, which includes all three of its other products: Crelate Recruit, Crelate Hire, and Crelate Deliver. Let’s dig into each of these, starting with- Crelate Recruit. Crelate’s ATS, or applicant tracking system, features include: automating administrative tasks, engagement tracking, and providing a searchable database.
Crelate Recruit also includes both Customer Relationship Management, abbreviated as CRM and Candidate Relationship Management, also abbreviated as CRM. On the customer side, you can track business pursuits, won requisitions, and client relationships. Meanwhile, on the candidate side you can track and automate communication, optimize workflows, and use powerful recruiting analytics. Crelate recruit can also help users create a client portal, which creates a better experience for candidates and helps hiring managers and recruiters sync up throughout the whole process.
And once you’ve picked the right person for the job, you can now use Crelate: Hire. Crelate provides all necessary stakeholders with checklists to track all onboarding steps. This includes all credentials, verification materials, and other required documentation. Crelate facilitates the signing of documentation with its in-house e-Signature system. Signature requests can be sent to multiple people at once, and you can use their library of standardized, reusable templates.
It also includes a dashboard to get a bird’s-eye-view on all current and upcoming hires. That way, once someone has all the necessary steps to get started, you’ll be able to deploy them as soon as possible. Last but not least, let’s look at Crelate: Deliver. This last leg of Crelate’s suite gives you a dashboard to track assignments at a glance and provides automated status alerts so you can always stay ahead of the curve. You can also keep time, managing time card submittals and approvals from a dashboard that’s available on both the desktop version and the mobile app of Crelate.
So is it right for you? Well, let’s look at some pros and cons and see if that helps. Let’s start with the good side: It’s quick and easy to use. Dashboards are helpful. And it provides a better candidate experience. But on the flip side: There’s a lack of HTML support in bulk mail and creating other automated posts And some users have reported that customer service was slower to respond than they had hoped. Crelate’s tools provide a lot of great features, but it might not be for you, and that’s ok!
