Hello I’m Justin Fraction for TechnologyAdvice. Time is not something we have much of these days, or any day if you’re juggling multiple things at work and your personal life, so here are some tips you can use with your Customer Relationship Management or CRM software of choice to make things go more efficiently thus allowing you to maximize revenue. Number One: Automate Your Communications Instead of your team spending tons of time on data entry, CRM automation will let you implement data automation, set up personalized email sequences for contacting leads, log customer interactions, and automate customer service.
Number Two: Reduce Time Spent In Meetings There are some situations where you might spend more time talking about working than actually working these days. What CRM software will let you do is eliminate random data review meetings by providing a central base or “dashboard” where everything you could want to know about what is happening with your data will live. If everyone already has access to the same information in the same format then it saves so much time.
Number Three: Gain Accountability with Tasks CRMs usually have task creation and management functionality which will allow you and your team to assign tasks and view them. So basically you don’t need to ask if something is done or getting done because all of the information will be right there. You’ll know where your coworkers are in the process and be able to check in if you have questions. Number Four: Minimize Duplicates CRM software is meant to house information relating to all of your customers so it would stand that it can either limit the creation of duplicate data or eliminate duplicate data easily.
Meanwhile, my password software won’t even let me eliminate annoying duplicates. Why are you bringing up that password from 2004 and then three others? WHY? WHY? Number Five: Organize Data It’s not just about organizing, it’s about the kind of organizing a good CRM can do. You can set permissions for your data, set naming and data entry guidelines, and customize the data entered strategically. That’s not as easy to do with excel, is it?
