Worksuite is made up of two products: FMS and Pay. Worksuite FMS, or Freelance Management System, helps users streamline the contractor onboarding process with customized workflows, background checks, and hiring pipelines. Once hired, Worksuite FMS also has a built-in Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) to categorize contractors and find the right resources for the right jobs. Worksuite Pay has a centralized dashboard to manage, organize, and pay freelancers across the globe.
Worksuite has 3 plans that increase in price and available features: Essentials, Vision, and Enterprise. Essentials includes all base features for 5 users with the option to add more and supports unlimited freelancers and vendors. The Vision plan allows 10 users and adds recruitment & ATS features, a dedicated account manager, and timesheets. The Enterprise option has enhanced security, Enterprise account administration, and 20+ users. While no free plan is available, both the Essentials and Vision plans have free trials.
Worksuite is available on modern browsers, for download on Mac, Windows and Linux, and on mobile devices for both Android and iOS. Worksuite comes with a number of features to help you manage FSM functions. Onboarding new contractors has a lot of administrative tasks and paperwork tied to it, and Worksuite aims to help with that process. Worksuite allows users to create custom workflows with specific actions, triggers, and forms relevant to their business.
Users can also use the system to run background checks and get whatever other information is needed to keep their database of freelancers compliant and up to each company’s standards. Worksuite FMS includes Project Overview, a dashboard of all active projects that gives users a birds eye view of project status, task status, task fees, and what freelancers are assigned to each task. Worksuite also includes customizable SOWs (or statements of work) to keep users and their freelancers on the same page for the duration of a project.
For more precise tracking, users can assign, track, and review milestones, timesheets, expenses, and payments for any active projects. Worksuite allows users’ freelancers to create invoices directly inside the dashboard to expedite approvals and payment. If contractors invoice through traditional methods, users can upload those into the system as well so they can be organized and managed accordingly. Worksuite also includes support for multi-tier approval processes so that users can route invoices to the right people to move the process along.
Upon approval, Worksuite Pay lets users pay contractors in over 150 countries with over 120 different currencies. Worksuite is a top-rated product with several pros and cons worth mentioning.. Worksuite is easy to use, both for users and for contractors. Worksuite’s features help expedite and simplify the contractor process for most users. However, some users complain about the lack of flexibility and customization with questionnaires and the limited reporting and project-tracking features.
