hi I'm Kyle hope you've been good and great great and good today I'm here to tell you about monday.com dashboards Kyle didn't you already tell us about monday.com dashboards in your last video that I can view by clicking on The annotation in the top right corner of the screen I sure did on the specific and hypothetical made-up viewer but today I'm going to quickly show you two more widgets that are often used in money.com dashboards so let's get started as a reminder from the last video we're using an example dashboard that is connected to two separate boards again to add a widget navigate to your dashboard and then you'll click on the add widget button and you can either choose one of the main options or the more widgets button which pulls up a huge Smorgasbord of options I don't have the time to go through every single one of these in this video but I do want to highlight a few of the common ones that my team uses a lot the numbers widget while simplistic is super useful for when you or management wants a quick bird's eye view on a number that they keep an eye out for frequently important metrics like completed videos Revenue active projects or similar items are prime candidates for this kind of widget in the settings which you can access by clicking on the ellipses or three dots in the top right corner of the widget you can choose to have it count items or to look within columns to sum or average up the data into a single number for this example let's say we're counting up the number of items we have in both boards under more settings I can look at adding a unit to this number like dollars pounds zeros percent or whatever else I can also choose a function like some average median min max or account and also choose whether or not I want decimal places on this item and just like with charts I can choose to specify which boards I'm pulling this information from and even more specifically which groups I'm pulling from another useful widget is the battery widget this is particularly useful for tracking the statuses of the items within your boards at a glance each color on the widget represents a unique status in your boards and the colors shown are based on what statuses you already have available on the relevant boards if you can access the settings by clicking on the ellipses or three dots in the top right corner of the widget this widget has just about the same options as any of the previous ones we've looked at and is fairly straightforward you just tell the widget what status field or Fields you're looking at within the boards and groups you have available and there we are so do be quick those are two more widgets that are often used at least by my team when making monday.com dashboards if you want to see explanations of more of these widgets let us know in the comments below and maybe I'll whip up another one of these videos and if you want more info on other project Management Solutions other than monday.com visit technologyadvice.com for our list of the top options available today thanks for watching and be good and great great and good
