The Challenge for Easy Projects is to find those who have rejected the use of ‘bells and whistles’ and are looking for simple and easy software to assist with team collaboration, time sheet tracking, and customer relationship management Easy Projects aids in planning tasks and managing collaborative teams. It has the ability to import and export from MS Project and MS Excel, aids in billing and tracking customers and has a Guest Portal that allows users to interact with their clients through the same convenient platform.

Almost everything within Easy Projects revolves around activities. They’re the basis from which the projects you are working on can be easily updated and completed. The home screen for users of Easy projects is the activity center. It’s here that users can see various projects and activities that they are currently working on. The activity center displays a project’s importance, completion percentage, and anticipated dates. This screen is also customizeable to reflect your own personal priorities.

Within a project are several panes of information that help inform users of a project’s details. Dates, hours, status, and priority are all accessible. Users can also create custom fields to more easily keep their projects up-to-date. Below custom fields is a message board, file upload tool, and audit trail that helps users communicate and collaborate on projects. Perhaps one of the most unique features of Easy Projects is the financials section.

It’s here that billing, and expenses can be tracked and updated to keep teams and their financials on track. Within the projects and tasks tab tehre’s also teh ability to view Gantt charts. It’s here that a simple and intuitive visual display can more easily help teams organize their workflow. Progress as well as anticipated hours can be added to tasks to help identify them. Another helpful visual tool within Easy Projects is teh project calendar.

It’s here that projects can be sorted wtih filters and users can see what to expect in teh coming weeks and months. This data can also be exported via CSV and MS Project. Within time logs, teams can more accurately keep track of how projects are currently being billed and who is working on what. Here users can easily input data as to what projects they have worked on and for how long. This data is then compiled into useful charts and forms that can then be analyzed to produce actionable intelligence as to which projects are the most efficient.

The next tab over is Reports. There are various reports that users can run to determine everythign about their projects from resource utilization to milestones to a more comprehensive look at Gantt charts. Here you can see a summary report that shows which users and employees worked on which projects as well as which projects took the most time. Last but certainly not least are the various additional features of easy projects that teams can take advantage of to fit their needs.

The custom forms module allows companies to automate their intake process by allowing for new projects or requests submitted by users outside of Easy Projects. This allows for the creation of a survey tool, an issue tracking software, or a way for your clients to submit project proposals.With the resource loading simulation you get to choose your team. You can do so by selecting specific people by names or by skills. Made for medium-sized companies to enterprises, Easy Projects is available for a medium-price point.

A few limitation we noticed and confirmed from reviews on our website is how it integrates with few programs and is limited to basic collaboration with Outlook and MS Project. Also it may require users to do some digging to find features theyre looking for.
