And you can see that that Cubby appeared on the desktop version almost instantly. You can also share any Cubby or files inside of them, either through email um or by publishing a URL, and you can add a password to that if you want. Um or you can email it directly to someone. So, overall, it's a very intuitive interface.
Um it's very simple and it works well for team projects or smaller group sharing needs. You can have multiple users on a Cubby account depending on your subscription level. Uh the pros of the software are easy file sharing capabilities. As you just saw, you can broadcast your folder um over the web through URL or email it directly. Uh simple user interface, especially on the desktop, and native mobile apps where you can access your files on Android or iPhone.
The downsides to Cubby, um it doesn't fill the role of a traditional backup program. Um it's not running in the background. The desktop client isn't very robust compared to some of the other options we've looked at, um especially some of the other enterprise options, and uh their software is not compatible with Linux computers. So, if you have those, you're going to want to find a different option.
