Breakdown of core features
Easy meeting creation
The only information required for a host or user to invite others to their meeting is a valid email address. Attendees can then join via phone, computer, or video system. WebEx software also allows users to switch instantly from one device to another while an online meeting is on the fly. The way WebEx is built allows all attendees to be active participants through the whiteboard, note-taking, and annotation tools when enabled by the host. Attendees don’t need a WebEx account to join a meeting.
Users can maximize their collaboration through the Cisco WebEx Training Center. By utilizing this feature, the software automatically sets up the screen view based on the type of file that is being used. For example, when using a PowerPoint Presentation, the screen will automatically default to a slide show presentation with all the associated controls. If a video file is presented, the presentation will load with the appropriate video controls. Attendees can edit shared files if given an assigned role or privilege granting them access to make annotations in real-time files, which helps enhance any brain-storming session.
The Event Center allows users to organize and conduct events that enables up to 3,000 attendees participate. Another feature of the Event Center is that invitations can be customized along with the registration site. Meeting events can be managed interactively with screen sharing, Q&A, polling, and chat features. This particular feature enables hosts to promote their brand and business to larger audiences.
