Pros of IndusTrack
Unlimited onboarding and support means you can continually and effectively train new employees and continue to get the most out of IndusTrack as your business grows and changes. Their focus on limited industries allows you to easily customize and achieve greater depth of capabilities for our customers. Additionally, IndusTrack is the only FSM solution for service trades that has native, built-in GPS tracking—not a third-party integration.
Cons of IndusTrack
Their customer experience features are not intended for mass marketing tasks and are better suited to account-based customer care. There are currently no financials, but their QuickBooks Connector supports the most popular financials apps.
Breakdown of core features
With IndusTrack Estimates, you can create an estimate from a pre-loaded price list or by pre-synced items from Quickbooks. Estimates can be printed, marked as lost or won, or emailed to the customer for approval. When an Estimate is won, you can convert it to a job and dispatch it using the Scheduling module. When the job is finished, it converts into an invoice with a single click. Employees can create estimates on the spot using the Mobile App. Field employees can instantly quote work, get a signature, and email the estimate to the customer. When an estimate is finished, field employees can instantly start the job. Once the job is complete, they can invoice and take payment immediately. All information is automatically synced for the office staff to view.
Scheduling & Dispatching
Create a schedule in seconds with the electronic scheduling dashboard. For future work orders, create unassigned jobs from the action menu. Jobs can be one time, recurring, or multi-day. For each job, you can either have one or multiple tasks added with notes, parts, attachments, and forms. Once a job is dispatched, a field employee will see the job instantly on their Service Track Mobile App. Field employees can also get directions to the job location, add job notes, and take pictures. Employees can start, take breaks, and complete the job with a click of a button. Office staff can have a simple map view with employee location, customer location, job status, and even vehicle location. They can also run reports for all the jobs or create an invoice for a specific job and sync it with Quickbooks.
Employee Management & Timesheets
On the map, you’re able to see the location of any employee, or all employees at once. You can view any jobs associated with that employee, find the nearest customer, view other job locations, or even see live traffic. If the employee has an IndusTrack GPS tracking device in their vehicle, you can view their vehicle location next to the employee location on the map. IndusTrack tracks the phone location with the employee and the vehicle location independently. The search function can locate jobs, vehicles, employees, and customers.
In Timesheets, field employees can quickly start a shift, a job, or a break. They can enter a cost code or even add job notes. Office staff can view live timesheets, total time for the company, or for each employee by shift, job, or break. They can modify timesheets and sync the data with payroll software.
