Breakdown of core features
Unlimited number of meetings
Users can connect with anyone—coworkers, clients, classmates—as often as they’d like with Google Meet. The application lets users invite up to 100 participants to a meeting. Invited individuals need to sign in with a Google Account to join the meeting for added security.
Compatible across devices
Google Meet works on any device. Participants can join a meeting from their desktop/laptop, Android, or iPhone/iPad. Users working from home can also participate from Google Nest Hub Max. Furthermore, for organizations that need conference room support, Google Meet offers high-quality hardware options.
Messaging with participants
This video conferencing app makes meetings more engaging with live messaging during calls. Users can share files, links, and other information with participants. Messages are only available during the conference.
Google Meet allows users to share their screens during meetings and choose what to share with other participants. If a user doesn’t want to share their whole screen, the app gives them the option of sharing a specific browser window, application, or document. Videos are also shareable with other participants using the screen-sharing feature.
