Connect remotely or transfer the data into datapine’s high speed, in-memory data warehouse, which enables users to manage large amounts of data and boost querying speed by sparing IT resources. For technical users, datapine offers advanced connection options such as a secure connection to a user’s database using an SSH tunnel, the possibility to define foreign keys, or take advantage of a customized SQL View.

Analyze

With the help of an intuitive drag & drop user interface, even non-technical business users can analyze and visualize complex data sets. datapine’s easy-to-use analyzer offers multiple advanced analytics options, including among others, combining different chart types, conditional formatting, calculated fields, intelligent data alerts, predictive analytics tools, comparisons to previous periods, as well as custom chart tooltips. Users can choose from over 15 different chart types such as gauge, map, (stacked) column or bar, area, as well as bubble charts. More technical users knowing SQL can switch to an SQL mode, where they can manually write queries on their own or use already existing statements or scripts directly in datapine.

Alarms

datapine offers an intelligent alert system to automatically track the most important KPIs with the help of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Users can set up alerts with a few clicks for a selected KPI and can choose from 3 different alert types: neural network, pattern recognition, and threshold alerts. The pattern recognition alert is a machine-learning algorithm using historical data and patterns to predict future values. For these two intelligent alert types, users can adjust the sensitivity as well as in which time frame and at which concrete time the data should be checked. If an alert is triggered, they automatically receive a notification email and get detailed information such as the deviation from the expected value, alert accuracy, degree of seasonality as well as an overview of the last 30 days. Finally, the threshold alert is a simple way to define manually absolute or relative values for a KPI to get notified, when this pre-defined value was hit.
