PDS’ Vista® is a complete HCM software solution for organizations with employees based in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean. Vista is a core suite of recruiting, onboarding, human resources, payroll, benefits, time, and attendance components that include self-service, engagement, workflow, analytics, and extensive reporting. Its intelligent cross-border capabilities manage U.S. and Canadian employees in a single database.

Vista delivers a simple, intuitive interface to improve employee experience. Their modern and efficient HCM solution provides robust tools that will scale as your business grows. Vista delivers automation where it’s needed and necessary functionality where it’s logical so that users can get to what they need whether they’re on a computer, tablet, or phone.

Vista HR is a robust application that includes Recruiting, Onboarding, Self-Service, Position management and budgeting, Compensation management, Performance management, and Talent management. Vista Benefits is a tightly integrated component that monitors eligibility and automates benefit activation based upon rules that you define. Employee deductions are automatically managed based upon benefit costs without data entry by payroll. Employee communications can be streamlined using our benefits statement and total compensation statement.

Vista Payroll is a complete payroll solution that delivers a secure, compliant, efficient, and streamlined tool that helps Administrators manage their payroll environment regardless of its complexities. Vista offers tools to simplify data collection, auditing, and employee communications. Individual Vista application components can be implemented at the appropriate time, and you can assign users access to specific functions of these applications based on their responsibilities and authority to access sensitive information.

  • Vista allows organizations to take advantage of the benefits of their cross-border and single database architecture that automatically presents employees with appropriate U.S. or Canadian page content, based upon their citizenship. Within their single database, Vista manages currency differences, localization of terms, citizenship identification data, and more. Corporate reporting and analytics can deliver corporate-wide reporting as needed.
  • PDS provides options when it comes to how you choose to deploy the product. PDS’s cloud model offers the full-featured Vista solution and their managed services for organizations that want the vendor to manage their environment. At PDS, this model offers the comfort of a modern, secured solution without requiring the infrastructure to support it. With their cloud offering, your data is housed in a Tier 1 U.S. or Canadian-based data center. They offer production services (tax filing, form printing, etc.) and PDS applies software and product updates and enhancements.
  • Their on-premise model offers the same powerful Vista solution when your IT group prefers full control of your HCM infrastructure. With on-premise, your IT group manages the same system within your own domain. VistaFresh (their PDS software update toolset) automatically updates your environment and keeps your product up-to-date.

Where appropriate, they are now working to deliver on-demand reports accessible to the user where and when they need them. In many cases, they plan to replace hard-copy reports with actionable analytics that can easily deliver summarized data in a more meaningful, intuitive way.

Onboarding

Vista Onboarding helps you consistently and efficiently convert new hires into engaged, empowered, and productive employees. Vista Onboarding provides your company with tools that allow you to introduce new employees to the organization and company culture to help them feel comfortable. With easy configuration, you can provide employees with a virtual checklist of to-do items, an FAQ’s page, and your own organization content. You’ll be able to embed a virtual version of company documents, details of their job responsibilities, and by using the Adobe Sign™ or DocuSign™ integration, have new hires electronically sign documents (i.e. various HR, benefit, and payroll forms) that are needed prior to starting.

The Vista Onboarding framework also leverages other useful Vista tools used during onboarding such as tests and surveys. HR administrative users can easily manage pending new hires, view where they are in their onboarding checklist, communicate reminders, and assist where appropriate. As part of Vista HR,  an interface with E-Verify is included to perform employment eligibility verifications.

Employee engagement

Employee Self-Service provides your staff with the ability to review and modify their own personal data, easily and quickly. Employees will be empowered by their ability to get to their information in a timely manner and not always require communication with HR or payroll. Vista’s out-of-the-box Employee Self-Service tools also enable you to share content and engage with employees. By deploying online access to paychecks, W-2s or T4s, you can eliminate paper and streamline communications. Employees can also enroll in benefits using a step-by-step open enrollment wizard that presents them with eligible benefit options and intuitively leads them through the enrollment process.

Vista offers a variety of methods to allow employees to better engage with each other, such as tools to easily collaborate and share content with teams, provide feedback, and participate in 360 performance reviews. Manager Self-Service provides your line managers with the tools to manage their direct reports more efficiently. Depending upon their roles, managers may initiate requisitions, perform performance reviews for their staff, and generate reports on-demand. By enabling your front-line managers, they can take ownership of their organization and make your organization more efficient.
