Zoho Workplace product overview

Zoho Workplace is an all-in-one office productivity suite that unifies team communication and collaboration. The Zoho Workplace suite includes apps for email, instant messaging and calling, organization intranet, word processor, spreadsheets, presentations, online meeting and conferencing, and virtual training.

Zoho Workplace does not just deliver a bunch of apps—it has built-in business context into them, so workplace solutions go beyond enabling collaboration to solve real business problems. The solution integrates all apps in a single interface, removing tab switching and ensuring continuity across devices and apps.

With advanced features like S/MIME for emails, EMM integrations, white labeling, and eDiscovery for compliance, Zoho Workplace is also enterprise-ready.

Pros of Zoho Workplace

  • The software brings context from sales, marketing, or finance into the productivity apps, allowing focus on the core issue—instead of pursuing multiple apps.
  • All apps in Zoho Workplace work with each other seamlessly for a positive user experience. Users can respond to Cliq chats while working in any app, store files with WorkDrive and share with Mail, and present a spreadsheet over live video conference.

Cons of Zoho Workplace

  • Some users encounter lagging while using the solution.

Communication and collaboration

Teams can host meetings, conferences, and webinars, as well as store, share, and collaborate on files in their workspace, regardless of the location. Users can connect with colleagues using the business communication tools in Zoho Workplace, too. The software lets team members share emails with coworkers to cut down on inbox clutter, follow up with them over chat, or spark group-wide discussions via forums.

Zoho Workplace’s dashboard brings together all apps in one consolidated view. Users can personalize their collaboration dashboard as they see fit and stay updated on activities. Teams can also customize the dashboard layout and rearrange, remove, and add or create app widgets. The Workplace dashboard syncs data in real-time and makes collaboration streamlined.

Email retention and eDiscovery

The platform preserves the company’s emails with its archiving feature. Aside from archiving, it also retains and indexes emails for future use. Managers can set retention policies that best suit the enterprise and retrieve archived information through eDiscovery. Users can also create and manage investigations for specific emails and generate audit reports on user activity.

Resource booking

With Zoho Workplace, teams never have to worry again about double bookings and conference room shortages. Resource Booking lets users pick the room they need, when they need it, based on a simple “free” or “busy” basis. When used together with Zoho Calendar, booking a room, creating an event, and sending out invites can all be done from one place.
