Product Quick Facts
Voxeet’s founders, frustrated with conference calls that were ineffective due to poor quality, determined that collaboration requires excellent sound. Subsequently, they built a conferencing solution that is simple to set up and features unparalleled sound quality and mobility. Voxeet was founded in 2009.
Voxeet’s group conferencing features include contact management, one-click conferencing, scheduling, Whisper mode, and dial-in. With visual cues as well as 3DHD immerive sound, Voxeet creates a natural experience that makes participants feel like they are in the same room. Each caller has a unique avatar, and when the avatar is moved on the screen, that person’s voice moves as well. Voxeet is available as a free download on both PC and Mac computers, as well as iOS and Android devices for seamless mobility. Users can invite and add contacts from their address books, Facebook, email, and Google+ and then organize these contacts into groups. If participants want to have a private, two-way chat within the conference call, they can use Whisper mode. Additionally, the Dial In option allows users to switch to a local phone line if they are experiencing a low-quality IP connection.
One user who works at WFP praised Voxeet for helping the company’s dispersed team address a continual challenge. He noted that it prevented time from being wasted due to inability to connect on conference calls.
