About GoldTech Retail Manager
GoldTech, founded in 2000, has worked to establish itself as the “point of solution” for retailers in need of point-of-sale (POS) software. To this end, it has established partnerships with such noted companies as Hewlett-Packard, Toshiba and Honeywell. Based in Greenville, South Carolina, GoldTech is a member of the National Retail Federation, an advocate for the retail industry.
The company’s product, GoldTech Retail Manager, offers a number of features. Its inventory management software tracks purchases and automates re-supply, and it can be accessed on-site or from a home office. It allows retailers to make purchases from unlimited vendors, has a barcode print function, and further provides users with centralized inventory management functions for individual warehouses and all company warehouses as a group. According to GoldTech, its Retail Manager point-of-sale software can be taught to clients’ employees in a matter of minutes. It produces work orders, manages layaway purchases and customer loyalty programs, tracks POS customer information, and provides users with a display of inventory. This point-of-sale software also allows for multiple tenders in a single transaction, and a suspend/resume function. From its intuitive interface, retail store personnel can create customized receipts and keep track of any number of customers. GoldTech’s Retail Manager package is essentially a comprehensive product.
