About Pantera Online Plan Room
Pantera Global Technology, formed in 2009, specializes in developing project collaboration tools, like Online Plan Room, for the construction industry. As Pantera’s goal is to create the largest community of construction professionals through their cloud-based tools, it has made the entry-level version of its products available for free.
Online Plan Room software aims to prioritize the needs of the general contractor by simplifying document sharing and the bidding process, while simultaneously protecting data. The project collaboration tools include a file sharing system, a contact management system, and reporting capability. Features like invitation to bid make adding participants simple, as well as allowing managers to track activity and allowing users to easily accept or decline an offer or request. An integrated project wall allows for both private and group messaging for enhanced communications. Online Plan Room is designed to be of use to the full range of participants in any construction project, from architects to owners to general contractors to subcontractors. The new Fully-Integrated Plan Room version allows general contractors to integrate the bid management tools into their own website so that subcontractors come directly to their site for bidding. The basic version is available for free.
The Arizona-based company has received significant recognition for their products, including an award from Constructech Magazine for the top product for bid management in 2014 and a listing among CIO Review’s Top 20 most promising construction technology solution providers. To date, Pantera’s construction document management tools have been successfully implemented by a large number of national retailers, as well as hundreds of general contractors. Its clients include such companies as Lakeview Construction, Hunt Construction, Management Resource Solutions, Footlocker, and Ulta.
