Consum, a leading Spanish food retailer, decided to work with Hooptap to boost its loyalty program with a Danone product campaign. Danone, a multi-national food products corporation, wanted to launch a campaign to familiarize users with their products in Consum’s environment. Danone’s objective was to increase sales by 20 percent. Hooptap developed Consum’s Brand Club, where users interacted with the different product varieties. Danone challenged the customers to play new games every day, while discovering new content about their products and the brand itself. During the campaign, users in Consum’s Brand Club could win points to spend at a virtual grocery store, sponsored by the brand, and get discounts and prizes which could be used at the usual POS. This gamified environment worked to engage the audience and monetize this relationship in a fun and interactive way.
