Launched in 2012, Friendefi provides customized multi-channel customer, employee, and channel engagement programs using gamification. Built on what Friendefi calls their “Audience Engagement Platform”, they deliver campaigns and programs designed around clients’ brands, aimed to engage and motivate action amongst their audiences.
The “Audience Engagement Platform” provides a flexible “tool kit” allowing Friendefi to provide a custom-designed solution that enhances an existing loyalty program, or to create a new engagement program targeting a range of behaviors – new customer acquisition, purchase activity, product awareness and discovery, engagement and sharing through social channels, refer-a-friend, and more.
American Airlines wanted to improve awareness amongst its members of their many AAdvantage program partners in the hotel, car rental, and retail industries, and to drive social channel engagement and flight behavior. The American Airlines AAdvantage Passport Challenge included an innovative ‘personal goal’ that challenged participants to fly and earn a set number of miles based on their previous flight history. The campaign generated a significant increase in engagement, purchase activity at the many AAdvange program partners, new fans and followers on social networks, and in-flight activity.
