About Fonality
Headquartered in Plano, Texas, with satellite offices in California, New York, Australia and the Philippines, Fonality provides Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) business phone systems for companies in the insurance, technology, manufacturing, education and non-profit industries, as well as other fields. The company currently has more than 25,000 clients located in 99 countries and employs a staff of over 250 people to meet its 275,000 users’ needs.
Fonality’s business phone systems feature enhanced tools for customer service management and integrated call management not found with traditional analog small business phone systems at a significant savings over hard-wired and on-site phone switching systems. Fonality’s Internet-based unified communications (UC) system allows for intuitive, drag-and-drop call handling; users can put a call on hold or transfer calls via their mouse, and also access, store or even automatically transcribe voicemails. In a call center delivery, Fonality calls can also be monitored, allowing managers to see which employees are on the phone, listen in, and take over if necessary. For those on the go, such as sales and service agents, personalized call routing and mobile device integration ensures important calls will always reach them, no matter where they roam. Fonality users can work from anywhere with a high-speed Internet connection, and calls and other information can be shared between multiple company locations and branch offices. Additionally, users can communicate and collaborate, sharing ideas, computer screens, and other information, in or out of the office. This integrated VoIP call management system is scalable, letting clients add new users and locations instantly. Fonality scales in functionality as well; clients can select from three separate, no-commitment price levels, and cloud, on-premise, software only, private hosted, or ‘switch your deployment’ deliveries.
Notable Fonality customers include the Philadelphia 76ers, Fanatics Inc., B-21 Wines, and Overland Storage. Users praise Fonality for providing numerous useful advantages over traditional analog phone service, including enhanced phone system management, increased control over features, significantly reduced long distance charges, the ability to view call logs in real time, and the ability to export call data to third-party software applications such as Microsoft Excel and Access to generate reports and analysis. Additionally, Fonality has been the recipient of numerous industry awards, including Internet Telephony Product of the Year in 2014 and 2012 and receiving a Unified Communications Excellence Award in 2013.
