DovicoProduct Overview
Dovico product overview
Dovico is a cloud-based time-tracking and timesheet software that allows all users to track, view, and analyze workflow and project costs. The platform allows employees to input hours via timesheet, as well as input expenses. Project budgets can be set, as well as triggerable alerts to help team members track costs. A time-off feature also allows employers to manage requests as well as see who is in the office. Budgeting and reporting can also be sent to stakeholders on a set schedule. With a DCAA-compliant audit trail, Dovico also makes your time data reliable and easily traced.
Pros of Dovico
The intuitive timesheet makes inputting project details and labor hours easy for teams. Dovico also allows customizable reporting as well as stock reports. Reports can also be shared with stakeholders on a set schedule.
Cons of Dovico
Dovico doesn’t have as many integrations with other software packages as some competing timesheet products. With a very robust API, Dovico does deliver its clients an opportunity to bridge the data gap, if they have the resources.
Breakdown of core features
Project Cost & Billing
Create projects with preset objectives by tracking time for cost or billing or for costing and billing, or by setting the project objective up to track time. Each objective makes it easier to understand the impact your project has on your bottom line. Set pay rates for employees and billing rates for tasks so that as time on tasks gets submitted, real-time billing and costing figures are available to you in an instant. Compare budgets versus actuals in the project summary or dig deeper using the reporting functionality. Create alerts to notify critical stakeholders if a project is nearing a certain percentage of its budget or alerts if a project has surpassed a certain threshold.
Time Entry
Dovico allows employees to enter time via a web browser, or by mobile phone (both iOS and Android supported). Users select their project, choose their task and enter time in hours or fractions of hours. They can also enter descriptions of the work and fill out any custom field information that may be important to the task at hand. Fields can also be made mandatory for crucial data. Set up approval paths so that supervisors or managers can be a second pair of eyes before any time is officially submitted. With approvals, time entries can be sent back to the user for any last-minute corrections.
Reporting
Use the many stock reports for data analysis, or customize them if needed. Create calculated fields to blend different rates and other budgeting and costing figures together. Send scheduled reports to any stakeholder that requires them, as well as view and send pie or bar charts, raw data dumps or simple grid reports in a variety of different formats, including PDF and CSV. Data can also be accessed through the API using Excel. Dovico will also work directly with users to make custom reports.
