A cloud-based solution built on the Salesforce.com platform, Luminate streamlines non-profits’ internal processes and provides tools for enhancing engagement with donors and constituents. For donor management, Luminate includes a range of tools for organizing and compiling donor information as well as features for tracking every interaction between your organization and each specific donor. Capable of integrating with mobile devices and social media, Luminate simplifies the construction of donation campaigns with a suite of marketing tools, like integration of a social media feed directly into the CRM, segmentation of customers based on relationship type, and in-depth analytics that highlight the success of your campaign. Luminate also allows nonprofits the freedom to customize dashboards and create unique modules. Further functionality includes event and volunteer management; features for importing and exporting data; out-of-the-box integration with applications like Microsoft Office, Outlook and Google; and donation processing, tracking and forecasting.
CaringBridge is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people connect and care for one another during health events. Before using Luminate, CaringBridge attempted to implement another CRM solution but encountered limitations with the software’s functionality. With BlackBaud, CaringBridge developed an online volunteer community where top advocates can access personalized tutorials and training programs as well as write and share stories about their personal volunteer experiences. After implementing Convio, CaringBridge saw a 16% increase in their supporter base per month, improved their on-site engagement metrics to 11 minutes per visit, and added to their number of monthly volunteer hours by 228%.
