Charm Health is a ONC MU 2015 Certified, cloud-based EHR, Practice Management and Medical Billing solution that helps healthcare organizations ranging from large multi-specialty groups to small independent medical offices function. Key features include integrated patient intake forms, natural language processing, multi-specialty templates, e-Rx of controlled substances, referral modules, telehealth, inventory management, and document management—all combined with clinical decision support and analytical tools.
Charm Health’s marketplace ecosystem offers mobile apps and add-ons with a growing number of integration partners along with readily available ChARM Health APIs including FHIR APIs. Charm Health comes with a Patient portal that allows patients to securely message Practices, view visit summaries, hand-outs, treatment plan, Rx refills, pay bills, sign forms, and schedule appointments. Custom phone, email, or text message reminders help Practices provide timely and quality Patient care. Support is offered via email, chat, and phone by trained Support specialists.

Charm Health is completely customizable to practice workflow. Starting with role-based access controls and a customizable dashboard, Charm enables practices to add on features as they grow and pay only for services they need. Charting is template-driven with customizable multi-specialty templates readily available for use. Practices can also build their own questionnaires and intake forms that can be filled out by patients prior to visits.

The EHR module comes with features like clinical decision support and patient flowsheets that can present essential patient information to providers in a compact manner. Efficient e-Prescribing connects practices to 70000+ pharmacies to submit electronic prescriptions and approve refill requests with ease. Charm integrates with labs such as Quest, LabCorp and others so that lab orders can be transmitted and received electronically.
The Practice Management module allows practices to streamline their workflow, from scheduling appointments to managing documents and inventory, generating reports, and invoicing and billing. Several add-ons such as Charm Connect, scanning, efax, and text/voice notifications can save practice members time and effort, making them available to perform more high-level tasks.
Revenue cycle management
Charm also offers Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services to help practices manage insurance claims and reimbursements. RCM services ensure that claims are handled by experienced professionals, thereby reducing mistakes, making the process faster, and increasing collections for practice. Services include eligibility checks, coding, claim scrubbing, claim submissions, payment posting, and denial management.
