Zendesk Sell (formerly Base) is a cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) and sales productivity solution that works mainly with mid-sized and enterprise-sized companies. Sell offers industry-specific CRM solutions across a variety of fields, including medical devices, manufacturing, software, and solar. Sell offers four different pricing tiers to choose from, depending on the size of the company and the amount of functionality users need, and you can do a 14-day free trial before committing to a plan.
Offering integrated tools such as email and a built-in phone dialer, Sell helps salespeople be more productive while offering advanced visual reporting and full-funnel views for sales managers. Sell’s user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, and drag-and-drop features make the solution fast and responsive.
Sales managers will also appreciate Sell’s pipeline valuation and forecasting tools (not available in all pricing tiers), which are made much more practical by lead scoring functionalities and pipeline tracking. Keeping the modern salesperson in mind, you can also access Sell on the go using its iOS or Android app. The app offers many of the same functions as the cloud-based system, including mobile reporting and offline access.
Sales insights are also available through Sell, allowing sales reps to see which deals are most likely versus least likely to close. This not only helps sales reps to close more deals, but it also provides sales managers with valuable information about how many touchpoints it takes certain sales teams to close deals.
