About Applicom Apollo
Applicom, based in Pescara, Italy, developed and supports the Apollo project management software solution. The company has been developing software and providing IT services to clients for more than 10 years. Initially focusing on writing custom software applications for servers and consulting on server installations, Applicom eventually turned its focus toward the development of software for client-side solutions. In 2008, company founder Andrea Di Clemente decided to redevelop one of Applicom’s existing project planning software applications for public use. This resulted in the birth of Apollo, which has since evolved into a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering.
Apollo is an integrated project and contact management software solution that, thanks to its SaaS framework, can be delivered to and accessed by teams anywhere in the world via an Internet connection. While web-based, the interface has the power, functionality, and feel of a desktop application. This project planning software tool offers the capability to grant team members and external users access to projects and assigned tasks while still keeping your company’s data safe and secure. Apollo integrates with other programs and existing services, such as Google Drive, Harvest, Freshbooks, and many more. As a SaaS project management software solution, Apollo is maintenance-free, and regular, automatic upgrades are installed remotely. Extensive time-tracking features allow users to keep track of how long they have worked on a task, filtered by date. Managers and users can add calendar events and monitor task progress, all with easy sorting and reporting options that can be organized into personal, project or customer-related categories. Monthly and no-contract pricing subscription options are available with specific costs determined by the number of projects, CRM users, necessary integration, and storage a company requires.
