AltDrive automatically protects and stores an unlimited amount of important photos, documents, videos, emails, and other documents. The software program seamlessly backs up Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, WHS, Linux and Intel-based Mac computers without limiting the upload speed, file size, or file selection. It encrypts files before it leaves the computer, and transfers the compressed files with SSL security to a secure off-site facility. AltDrive also includes customizable features such as filter selections and schedule creation so as to organize backups according to the users’ preferences.
Without capping bandwidth or setting file size limitations, AltDrive offers unlimited document backup at an affordable cost for individual and business use. It allows the designated administrator to manage subaccounts for all employees and servers. A duplicate copy of files is stored on a separate hardware device as a form of extra protection.
