About NCR Aloha POS
NCR Corporation is perhaps the best-known name in the world of credit card processing and electronic transactions, providing hardware, software and financial processing services to countless businesses, both large and small. Headquartered in Duluth, Georgia, NCR has clients in 180 countries and processes more than 450 million transactions daily. The company employs more than 29,000 people and has kept up with and spurred new innovations in the field, growing from simply being the National Cash Register Company, manufacturer of the first mechanical cash registers at its founding in 1884, to branching out into numerous fields related to transaction processing, including providing point-of-sale software.
NCR Aloha Restaurant POS Software is a fully featured point-of-sale solution designed for all kinds of dining establishments, including quick service, fast casual, casual dining and fine dining restaurants. This restaurant POS software solution features an intuitive, easy-to-use graphical interface through which staff can enter orders and payments. The system also supports check splitting, card processing, loyalty programs and gift cards, along with optional tools for order routing and order breakdowns. Aloha is available as a stand-alone system or as a web-based program, as POS as a Service (POSaaS). The latter is priced on a monthly subscription plan with no contract required, and it offers the advantage of automatic software upgrades, along with hardware upgrades scheduled every five years. Additionally, the NCR Aloha POSaaS version is flexible, allowing users to add or remove aspects of the program as needed. A mobile version of NCR Aloha POS Software is available as well, which can be used with either NCR mobile hardware built for the purpose or iOS mobile devices. This version facilitates faster ordering times and table-side payment.
