About OnlyOffice

Founded in 2008 and based in Latvia, Ascensio System SIA focuses on the development of project management tools and online collaboration software for businesses. This privately owned company released a project collaboration software,  OnlyOffice, formerly known as Teamlab, that is offered in two editions: software-as-a-service (SaaS) and server-based.

The SaaS version is the main product and is aimed at small to medium business worldwide. Both editions of OnlyOffice support project management and social networking and aim to enable its clients to accomplish an array of business collaboration tasks. OnlyOffice is a cloud-based office project management software whose features center around common office needs and include managing and storing documents, customer relations management (CRM), project organization, and email aggregation. This office application is also capable of collaborative document editing and commenting and enables the integration of information from other common business applications such as Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, and Skydrive. Security features include SSL connection, Amazon cloud hosting, automatic data backup, and two-level verification. Users can also access this cloud office tool on the go from iOS and Android apps. Subscription options are based on the number of users, and both monthly and annual rates are available.
