About NGL FreightMaster TMS
Founded in 1988 in the home of its CEO, Next Generation Logistics recently celebrated its 25th year in business. Employee-owned and managed, the company’s mission is to assist its clients in combating the ever-increasing price of transportation costs by the use of its transportation management system (TMS). It also offers a number of consulting services from a division it calls Business Process Outsourcing.
The company’s transportation and supply chain management (SCM) system is called FreightMaster TMS. In addition to its suite of applications, which includes transportation management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and freight management, Next Generation incorporates Microsoft Office features to facilitate an easy start-up. For those who already use Office, the software requires no additional training. Next Generation’s transportation management system is available for office or cloud access, and the company expects that its clients should be able to realize a return on their investment within months of implementation. The FreightMaster system is customized to meet each client’s specific needs. The end product, upon delivery, includes only the features that each client requires.
Next Generation Logistics is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, a global organization that was formed in 1963 to promote industry networking and research. Some of Next Generation’s consulting services include business process improvement projects and supply chain network analysis.
