About SuMo for Salesforce
SuMo for Salesforce, developed by CloudApps, is a motivation engine to increase customer, employee, and partner engagement. As an add-on product for the popular Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) software, it cannot be implemented as a standalone solution.
CloudApps’ goal is to help its clients motivate and measure the behaviors that increase business performance. CloudApps’ products are used by over 250 global customers, including firms like LeasePlan, G4S, Pearsons, and Qlik.
SuMo for Salesforce combines the power of game mechanics with the art of behavioral science to help motivate employees, customers, and partners to do, share, and learn more. When used to motivate employees, such as sales, marketing, and customer service operations, SuMo for Salesforce drives teams to excel through improved CRM adoption, higher quality data inputs, and increased insight into individual users’ performance.
As a modular platform, companies can adopt as few or as many modules as desired, enabling truly custom solutions and pricing options. SuMo’s Baseline module helps managers create a CRM performance baseline from which they can more accurately measure improvement and other metrics. SuMo’s Pulse module combines SuMo’s innovative platform with behavioral science services and marketing collateral that teases out the business pains and key performance indicators (KPIs) companies most want to address, enabling management to better identify the correct game dynamics that will motivate desired behaviors. The SuMo for Communities module extends the program’s application from internal use by employees to customers and partners as well, engaging both groups with your company on the Salesforce.com community platform. The SuMo TV module shares scores and updates in real-time, live in your office, letting companies broadcast their and employees’ successes on the big screen, tapping into users’ motivation to excel in front of their peers.
G4S, a security services firm, adopted SuMo for Salesforce and the SuMo Pulse module to increase CRM adoption and improve sales. Within a few short months, G4s saw the following results:

- 35% rise in contacts actively logged in to Salesforce.com
- User adoption reached 98%
