In 2005, Integrity Support, Inc. was founded by Steve Blakeman, a Licensed Psychological Associate with 23 years of experience. Recognizing the influence of internet business, along with Behavioral Health provider needs, Steve knew he must develop a cloud-based system. Steve partnered with Joe Murphy, an IT expert with 20 years experience including developing nation-wide billing systems. Together they developed the Electronic Health Records (EHR) and automated billing system called Checkpoint.

What do you like best about this product?

Their Staff! These are the most gracious and helpful staff we’ve ever worked with – they make our lives easier. The EHR, CheckPoint, is also so intuitively designed that our billers can get their work done without filtering through a complicated mess found in some other systems. Our providers we transitioned to Integrity Support all say the same thing, “It is so easy to use!”

What could be improved about this product?

They are working on more features in their scheduler which will be wonderful. At the request of some of our agencies they are building out more outcome measurement tools for faith-based counseling centers. Many agencies have chaplaincy programs that need specific reports to meet funding requirements. We appreciate that CheckPoint is willing to serve this under-served market.

What was your main concern about buying this software?

We were concerned about it not being Meaningful Use certified, however, many of our clients don’t and won’t ever meet this requirement. CheckPoint is priced appropriately for the solo provider and small to large agency that does not need to attest for Meaningful Use.

What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you seen?

Billing without headaches! Our clients love it and our entire staff appreciates that the software was designed to be intuitive from clinical to administration to billing.

What do you like best about this product?

It’s clean and easy to navigate. Our providers find it very intuitive. Having a clinician on their staff gives them an edge because it helps them understand what counselors need from their software. We’ve had some clients migrating from very complicated systems and they are relieved at how easy CheckPoint is to use.

What could be improved about this product?

What every products needs – more features. They are adding them consistently but with great care.

What was your main concern about buying this software?

We were concerned for some of our providers because some features were still being developed. CheckPoint, however, is very specific about who should be using their software. Some of their focus is on faith-based organizations and non-profits, as well as, small group practices and solo providers. They serve these markets very well.

What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you seen?

They connect directly to all of the MCO’s in North Carolina which is unique. They also send out billing automatically which takes a huge weight off of the agency.

How likely would you be to recommend this software to a friend or colleague?
