RAPID EHR, a component of ACOM Health’s Total Practice Performance software suite, is an electronic health record (EHR) solution for chiropractic practices. The software is CCHIT certified as a ONC-ATCB Complete EHR, which means it automates the entire documentation cycle of a patient’s visits. All data is stored in a secure database, where control rests with the doctors to avoid errors. RAPID EHR supports an interactive patient kiosk for check-in, document review, and input of medical history or complaints, covering a number of the responsibilities of the front desk.

RAPID EHR improves the creation of diagnostic notes. Notes are interactive with visuals, drop-down selection, and configurable fields. You can configure outcome assessments with a series of questions and instantly view the answers next to information stored in the patient file to provide immediate feedback to the patient. The conveniently gathered information in the patient file allows for quick billing and the generation of reports for future reference.

What do you like best about this product?

RAPID DOC and PM are very easy to use. It works from the patient check-in all the way through the billing process. The notes/report portion is very easy to use and customizable.

What could be improved about this product?

No improvements to list at this time. We have been using it for awhile now and have little issues. We love it!

What was your main concern about buying this software?

With a busy practice and growing patient load, we were concerned about the work and time needed for implementation and the learning curve involved for the software. First was the front desk; second phase was billing and third was EHR. Our project manager was easily accessible via phone and email, and provided us with timely assistance in addition to our regularly scheduled sessions. We were amazed at how easy the transition was and the practice didn’t miss a beat!”

What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you seen?

We like having one complete system: RAPID EHR and Practice Management. We are now able to do everything we need to using one complete software. We have had a boost in our collections since we have switched!
