Leaderboards

‘Leaderboards’ are graphical, textual, or numerical rankings, usually used to measure performance versus colleagues, classmates,  site users, or other competitors. Usually seen in individual sporting events like golf tournaments, leaderboards are sometimes used to encourage healthy competition among peers. Determination of leaderboard rankings in sales competitions has long been performed with tedious manual data entry; many software solutions with leaderboarding capabilities can interface with existing software systems, such as customer relationship management (CRM) software, to automate this process.
