Product Spotlight: PCRecruiter

In this product spotlight video, PCRecruiter’s Chris Cyrus and Rachel Gulko speak with Technology Analyst Eric Perry. They share how PCRecruiter is a highly customizable applicant tracking system.  

When asked about what separates PCRecruiter from other recruiting platforms, Cyrus says, “ What we do is highly customizable, but we also do a lot of personalized training.  We dive into your process, get an understanding of your process and show you how to incorporate PCR in the best way.”  

Gulko explained that PCRecruiter’s ideal customers range from small user to multi location firms.  She explains that PCRecruiter works with recruiters, staffing companies, and even HR consultants.  Gulko says the nice thing about PCRecruiter is that “We are going to grow with you.”  If you have a small business, and eventually grow to 50 people PCRecruiter will take your business where it needs to be.

Regarding best practices for their software, Gulko, a former recruiter and user of PCR, recommends that you set up custom fields.  This way, when you look for candidates, you can look in your database first.

Gulko went on to add:

The more specific your custom fields are, like what industry someone is a part of or a skill a candidate may have, the better the search results will be.

Below are a few excerpts from the remainder of the conversation:

TA: Who is the ideal customer for PCRecruiter ?

Gulko: “Our ideal customer really ranges from that small user to a multi location firm.  We work with recruiters, staffing companies, and even HR consultants.  The nice thing about us is that we work with a lot of single users.  If you start out small and eventually grow into, say, a 50 person firm, we’re going to grow with you.  We are going to give you best practices and give you that support.  And really take your business where it needs to be.”

TA: What does pricing look like for PCRecruiter ?

Cyrus: “At PCRecruiter we offer two different ways for pricing.  One of the ways would be our SaaS or Cloud model.”

Gulko: “With PCRecruiter our pricing varies based on the amount of users you have.  If you have one versus fifty people, your pricing is going to be different.  We start out with your start up cost, which is going to include your training, creation of your database, and all the other support and initiation of everything that you need.  For a single user, it’s going to be around $500, if you have more than 5 people, it’s going to be around $1500 and upwards.  Its really just depends.  As far as the user cost, you’re going to have the standard one year term pricing which is $95 per user.  We also have other options.  If you want to do a longer term, maybe 2 or 3 years, or even if you want to do a month to month basis.”

Cyrus: “The other option is the option of purchasing PCR.  Purchasing PCRecruiter would allow you to host PCRecruiter at your office on a server.  The difference mainly being a one time purchase price with option updates versus the monthly recurring option.”

TA: What’s a limitation of PCRecruiter ?

Cyrus: “A limitation with in PCRecruiter is that we don’t specialize in internal recruiting.  What I mean by that is that we specifically work with recruiting and staffing organizations worldwide. Onboarding and maintaining employees are not areas we specialize in.  I would say that is our weakest point.”
